Turn It Around Tour is a performance competition for the dancer, tap dancer, singer, and actor.
Performers will have the opportunity to showcase their talents in a fun and professional atmosphere. Our judges will be fair, encouraging, and supportive of the performers. Let's all make the change and Turn It Around! |
Levels
Competition levels allow each performer to compete against performers at a similar level. The reason for having divisions in the competition is to allow each performer to compete against a performer with similar training hours and experience. Turn It Around Tour has no way of confirming how many years or hours a performer has trained, so levels are set at the teacher’s discretion. Please use integrity!
Premier - Beginning Skill Level: training 6 hours or less per week. (If a performer is training six hours a week, three of those hours should be technique classes, such as ballet, and leaps and turns. The rest may be in rehearsal.)
They may perform only one solo.
(The performer may perform one solo in jazz, lyrical, contemporary, acro, modern, musical theatre, open, jazz funk, and specialty. If they have a second solo in either tap, hip hop, ballet, and ballroom - they may still compete in premier level with two solos.)
Star - Advanced/Intermediate Skill Level: training 6 or more hours a week
Solos - will be limited to two per discipline (two - dance solos, two - vocal solos, etc.), with a total of five solos allowed per performer
