Julie Pappas-SmithFACULTY
Julie Pappas-Smith is a graduate of the Boston Conservatory of Music and a member of Actors Equity. She has performed all over the United States and Europe with the Broadway touring companies of A Chorus Lion, Beauty and the Beast and Showboat working under the direction of Hal Prince, Susan Stroman, Baayork Lee, and Rob Roth.
Regional credits include: Cats (Grizabella), 42nd Street (Dorothy Brock), South Pacific (Nellie Forbush), Funny Girl (Fanny stby), A Chorus Line (Cassie and Diana), and her most favorite role Anita in West Side Story. Off-Broadway, she performed the lead role in the first revival of Kiss of the Spider Woman. Julie has worked in film, television and recording studios both east and west. Julie experienced the wonderful world of Disney World Orlando and Tokyo Disneyland dancing along side Ben Vereen and Carol Lawrence. She has also traveled the seas as a singer and cabaret artist for NCL, Carnival Cruise Lines and has sung at the Royal Albert Hall in London. |
