Ryan Walsh

Ryan Walsh hails from Melbourne, Australia where he trained on full scholarship at the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School-Melbourne’s premier school for the training and education of gifted young dancers and musicians.  Upon graduating, he joined the Queensland Ballet. Ryan performed in Midsummer Night’s Dream, International Gala, Don Quixote, Swan Lake, and An Eclectic Voice.  Ryan has also worked with Opera Australia as a dancer, Jean Ann Ryan Productions as a principal adagio/aerialist act, and the Inland Pacific Ballet in Claremont California as a principle dancer.  Ryan joined Royal Caribbean in January of 2002 as a dancer onboard the Radiance of the Seas.  Since then he has had a dream run!  The highlight of Ryan’s onboard career with Royal Caribbean was working on the Allure of the Seas as Dance Captain to Chicago The Musical.  In June of 2013, Ryan forged the position of Studio Production & Fleetwide Aerial support for Royal Caribbean Productions.  In March of 2017 was promoted to the casting department in the role of Casting Specialist for dancers, aqua performers and featured artists.  Dance has been the foundation of Ryan’s life and he hopes that he can inspire young dancers of this generation to follow their dreams and dance through life.
